Frank Chenault
He started his career in surfing at Laguna Beach in Central California and rose to stardom when he finished fourth place in the state championships of the United States Surfing Federation, which gained him a place in the nationals.
Alongside having a successful surfing career, Frank Chenault made his mark in the world of research as a quantum physics researcher at Quantum Group before leaving to start his own company. The birth of his company marked the start of his career as an entrepreneur.
When Frank Chenault isn't working as Head Acquisition Director at Chenault Enterprises, he is seen surfing. Surfing, to Frank Chenault, is a hobby due to the deep and unquenchable love he has for the ocean. He doesn't only surf but also spends his time helping organizations that are devoted to water bodies, such as Greenpeace.
Greenpeace is an organization that uses nonviolent actions to ensure safe environmental practices. It was founded in 1971 and in 2016 helped Laguna Beach win President Obama's endorsement as the world's largest Ocean Sanctuary off the coast of Antarctica’s Ross Sea—also the biggest pristine shallow sea on earth.
Another of these organizations is the Surfrider Foundation, established in 1984. It is one of the world's largest organizations dedicated to preserving water bodies, coastal preservation, beach access, ocean protection, and clean water. The Surfrider Foundation has over 80 chapters and 50,000 members. Ocean Friendly Gardens (OFG), one of its biggest initiatives, targets urban runoff, the top source of ocean pollution. It promotes landscape designs and maintenance practices by applying the principles of Conservation, Permeability, and Retention (CPR).
